A 22 year old Tracer - wow. OK -- so -- check for any air intake leaks or vacuum leaks. Then check for fuel delivery at the engine - ensure proper fuel pressure. Ensure use of proper high quality wires (Motorcraft?) and spark plugs gapped properly.
