What is your question?

If my car is hit on the driver side rear panel, on or across the wheel well, and the car shock to where we almost bang our heads on the side windows, and move a few inches. Could this cause the trans-mission to start messing up? Banging into gear and not shifting into gears while driving.

the car is a front wheel drive and the small hit you are describing in the rear, may or may not effect the trans. it would be very difficult to prove to a insurance company. the trans would have to be torn down and the claims adjuster will examine and make a decision. chances are it wont be covered considering the age of the car. roy

Thank you. About what I figure it would go that way. What about making the radeator leak as well. Not a very big leak.
