What is your question?
I'm having trouble with my climate control system in my 2008 Mercury Sable. I believe it is a bad actuator, but I'm not sure which one is bad. There are no noises, just blows cold air on one side and hot air on the other. Please provide information on how many actuators there are in my car and where they're located (driver's side; passenger side). Also, what does each one control?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Nothing. It's consistent all the time
How long has your 2008 Mercury Sable had this problem?
About a month

Hello, you have a temperature blend door actuator for the driver's side and the passenger side. This is with a dual zone climate control set up. You need to figure out which side is not responsive to hot and cold controls -- the one that doesn't respond is likely the one that needs attention. Now, it's important to note that the motor may not be the problem. There could be a wiring concern or a concern with the plastic door of the plenum itself that turns from hot to cold.
