Cooling fan constantly running

An engine cooling fan may run after the engine shuts down. So, it could be normal. But, it could also indicate a fault within the fan controls or the inputs to the fan controls. As a result, hands on diagnostic testing using a Ford IDS diagnostic tool or equivalent is needed to monitor what is happening, what is being commanded, and whether the cooling fans can be actively commanded or not.
