Stop spending the cash on something you may not need! Help indeed... Being very careful, follow the air conditioning lines back to the firewall. As they go into the accumulator (receiver/drier) and then into the firewall (evaporator), they should be very cold with the system running a bit. If they are in fact cold, then your problem my lie inside the vehicle with the temperature control mechanism.
The proper amount of refrigerant must be exact. Too much can be as bad as too little. Then your system pressure must be checked. If the air is blowing but not very cool, it can be leakage, restriction, engine temp., mechanical failure or possible electrical. it's best to have trained techs check these.
ok went out this morning and it is not blowing hot but not as cold as should be.... Wonders if 1 more can will do it? :)
I'm really sorry -- adding refrigerant blindly to the system is not advisable! You need a set of gauges to measure system pressure. You are probably just adding refrigerant the vehicle doesn't need, and then it vents off. On the other hand, your "stop leak" could have caused a system restriction, and may have begun a new problem. It's just all too much to guess at. You'd be better off doing nothing and living with it rather than wasting more money for something that will not fix it.
