2003 Ford Taurus. I have been having fuel problems. I replaced my fuel filter and was later having fuel delivery issues. After reading the codes my mechanic said the fuel pump was bad. he replaced the fuel pump assemby and I drove about 5 miles and the car stalled and would not start. The last code reading showed : "P1233-fuel air metering"The mechanic now says the fuel pump driver module is bad. could I have replaced the fuel pump for no reason? Now how do I know that the driver module needs to be replaced? this is getting expensive.... Ranger 13
I switch relays and still the same. I am running the same code P1233 and it is the driver module fault. Should I replace it?
