Driving car parked it went out and car makes a whirring noise and won't shift

This Model is notorious for the torque converter's going out.Had one that had 43,000 miles on it parked it that night and went out that morning started it put it in gear and nothing wouldn't move period.And after further investigation it indeed was the torque converter went out just like that.
