Water is pushing out of coolant container

There is a small hole that looks like is on the water pump and water is pouring out of it. The preasure seems to be building up in the engine, causing the water to push back out. When motor is off, water seems to leak out. What can be yhe problem.? The motor is not reading hot nor is the indicator showing over heating. But there are signs thst the water is boing. Dteam occurs when car is shut off and park.
