What is your question?
Car sat for about 4-6 months once I got it running I went to test drive it but my rear driver side tire will not move when in gear. Do I need to replace the caliper or is there an easy fix?
What makes this problem better or worse?
when it's in gear
How long has your 2002 Mercury Sable had this problem?

It's probably rusted together. You need to take the wheel off and make sure the pads aren't fused to the rotors or the same if you have drums. If they are heavily rusted it's best to replace them and make sure to lubricate everything as well. You may be able to save the calipers as long as the pistons still move back and forth like they should.
