I need instruction (steps to take) to change the bottom radiator hose on this car

What is your question?

I was told by a garage that the "water inlet pipe/hose is what needed to be changed on this car. It appears to me to be the bottom radiator hose. (same thing ?) It doesn't look like an easy job

What makes this problem better or worse?

nothing makes it better or worse - the coolant hose Needs replaced in order for it to maintain coolant

How long has your 2000 Mercury Sable had this problem?
