Getting to the instrument panel

So hard to say without being there and seeing it! There is no published procedure for this, so it's kind of "seat of the pants" operation. Make sure you remove all screws and fasteners, and then make sure you have an actual trim tool that is made specifically to reduce the chance of damage to plastic trim. Use this tool to gently pry the trim off.
