When I turn on the heater I only get heat to come out hot in the top vents only in the left side and not the right. Why dose it not blow hot air out through both sides?

Hello, your vehicle has a dual zone climate control system that will allow you to have different things happening on the driver.s side compared to the passenger side. As a result, if there is a malfunction in the system, it may affect only one side, and cause this concern. Hands on testing is required to find out what is happening and what is needed to resolve the problem.
