if you had it rebuilt, it runs between 1800-2200. a new trans is about 2800 and the labor is about 8 hours. Roy

i just did one on a 2004 explorer, 4.6l the other day and the out the door price was $3400. now that is dealership pricing and Ford reman'd trans, shopping around to find a reputable shop i'd say you might get it at 2200 to 2500, just depends.
