what is the procedure for cleaning a wheel speed sensor for my ABS system?

no sensor cleaning, just replacement after determining the ac voltage output. make sure the toner ring is not broken on the axle. Roy

Not really a cleaning, since it is a magnet, makes sure bits of metal are removed if sticking to it. Probably a cracked ABS toner ring is the cause though.

remove the sensors and see if theres metal shavings on the sensor. if there is, blow the shavings off and replace it. ive seen that happen alot with metallic brake pads. the metal from the pads builds up on the sensor. if that doesnt work. then the sensor might need replacing
