The locksmith cut and programmed a key and.could get it to turn the engine. I foundy let and he reprogrammed it and the same result. My key was working just fine u ntill the locksmith
What makes this problem better or worse?

If you want to initiate a new master key.... 1. This requires that the vehicle be connected to special dealer equipment. There are two ten minute delays involved while this device erases all existing key programming and sets up the vehicle computer to accept new key codes. Two new keys should be ready because the system requires a minimum of two keys in the program. After the first two keys are programmed, additional keys can be entered individually by following the instructions for adding duplicate keys
I did that.. he hooked it up to a computer and made two keys .tand still the same result. It will turn on but engine won't budge.should i.call another locksmith or what do u thimk
yes,won't hurt to get another opinion. if the ring(antenna) does not read the chip,then the RED theft light will stay on steady when the key is turned to on. if the theft light stays on when key is turned to on and does not go out/off in 3 seconds,then it will not crank/start,the starter is disabled....
