how to replace the A/C compressor

Do you have the proper equipment to do such a job? Do you have a way to evacuate and recharge your air conditioning system? Did the compressor allow debris into your lines? Have you checked your orifice tube for debris? Typically this is in absolutely no way a "do it yourself" kind of job. In fact, automotive technicians typically get certified to handle refrigerants per US EPA section 609.

Technically you have to be certified to handle refrigerants.....so, I can only recommend taking to a shop for repair......
