Can I drive from Pennsylvania to Kansas if I had a heater core issue

Can I drive from Pennsylvania to Kansas if I had an heater core issue but used the by pass method well the garage did for me, n they said it ok and I can drive it, but I never asked if I can drive it long distance. Idk crap about cars so someone please give me answers. N be nice. I really don't know. Lol

Yes you would have A/C. Heater core is for heat only,does not affect A/C,like Alex stated,you could leave it bypassed forever,but you just won't ever have any heat.

I know a guy who has his heater core bypassed and he has been driving it like that for well over a year and puts 1000 miles a week on his truck.you'll be fine,just no heat,which I don't believe you'll be needing any time soon.
