the seat belt on the drivers side is broken will not stay buckled how much will it cost to be fixed

It will cost you about 15 to 20 bucks for a brand new buckle. Almost all parts from a 1998 Explorer will interchange.
$10/$15 at any local junk yard for cars .Unless you have a $hundred pluss to waiste on new one
