What is your question?
Sometimes when I put vehicle into drive or reverse it seems to surge and go into gear hard. Often it jerks hard into gear. It seems that it idles up too fast when changing from drive to reverse for just a second. have had the program re-installed at dealer and it worked ok for a couple of days then started back again. They think it may be throttle body.??

When the throttle body on this car fails, you know it. The wrench light will come on, and you will basically have little or no throttle response. I'm thinking transmission issues potentially. Do you have the 6 speed automatic or the CVT - do you know? Calibration was my first thought, but you have had that done. Ford has a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) about idle fluctuation. It has a technician removing and cleaning the throttle plate of the throttle body on a bench. Ford also has a TSB for the 6 speed automatic transmission for hard shifting at very warm temperatures (warm engine temperatures). The valve body must be replaced for this issue. Neither of those TSB's seem to specifically apply to your symptoms but are certainly close. It would be a good plan to follow through and have your concerns re-evaluated. Good luck!
Fix for me was to have the throttle body cleaned. The butterfly valve, because of some carbon buildup, sticks momentarily, causing the sudden rise in idle because the sensor tells the computer the valve isn't where its suppose to be. Anyway, after I had it done, $125.00, it was like a new car at idle, no sudden surge or lunge into first or reverse. Hope this helps you guys thinking its a hard failure, maybe save you some bucks and headaches.
I have found that raising my pedals seems to help in shift kicks. 2006 montego premier.
