I reset it with the Engine Check-Up function, it says ok, then I drive for awhile, light comes back on and off, just started this problem, 2 days ago, Oil Full on the dipstick..please help!! 2005 Mercury Montego 120K miles

Hello, One of three things is happening. You either have low oil pressure intermittently (not likely), you have an issue in the wiring harness for the oil pressure sensor (more likely), or you have a bad oil pressure sensor (most likely). Don't disregard the lesser of the three, they do happen, but more than likely a bad oil pressure sensor is reporting incorrectly to the PCM. Test or have it tested. Replace as necessary. Also, The oil level sensor monitors how much oil is in the oil pan. The oil pressure sensor turns on the little oil can/oil pressure warning light. However, you are smart to make sure there is oil in the engine when the oil pressure light comes on.
