Car was in accident and airbag released. Now car wont turnover. Why?

Hello, Ford and Mercury vehicles have an "inertia" switch in the trunk which shuts off fuel supply as a safety precaution in the event of an accident. Check to see if this switch has been triggered and reset it. Of course, ensure the vehicle is safe to drive in the first place! Besides that, normal diagnostic testing would need to be performed to find out what is wrong.

Agree with Dave but,your question is kind of confusing. 1st you said "car wont turn over" and that means the starter motor is not cranking the engine over for it to start? then you said you can "jump the starter and solenoid and it starts" and starts means the engine is now running?
