What is your question?
brakes do not work properly after hard stop. Soft and slow to stop. This is extremely dangerous as it has happened to me at least 3 times in rush hour traffic. this issue happens when I had to hard stop to avoid hitting a car jumping into my lane(speed 50mph), when a car had a blow out in front of me a the car spun around I had to hard brake to avoid hitting the car(speed 65mph), and when I had to hard stop when a police car with lights on went through on intersection I was approaching(speed 45mph) I had the brake master cylinder replaced but I still have the same problem. It did not fix my problem.

Did you end up finding any solutions to this problem? My 2008 Milan is in the shop getting a quote for the exact same problem. Right now, it's looking like the master cylinder or brake hydraulic control unit is the problem. If fixing the master cylinder didn't do anything for you, that's good to know.
I also have the exact same problem with my Milan (that I have had for 5 years now). Usually the braking will return to normal after two or three days, but you are correct, it is a very dangerous situation to be driving in. If there is a fix that youryour mechanics found, I would be interested in knowing. Thanks!
My 08 Milan has the same issue. This has been going on for about a year now. This past weekend was probably the 6th (and final) time. I made an appointment for an $1,100.00 repair to replace the ABS pump and module and I will be driving straight to the dealership for a new car because its all over the internet how this ABS system in Ford is a POS. It should be recalled. I hope that you are in a position that you can get rid of your car. I hope that you stay safe. I encourage you to report it to the NHTSA website and file a complaint https://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/VehicleComplaint/ if enough of us report the issue, they will have to issue an investigation/recall.
Well, despite some testing, nothing was really found unless I was willing to have everything torn out. I replaced my rotors and then, if I recall correctly, they did replace the master cylinder. Things seem a tiny bit better, but I still don't think it's fixed. At this point, I don't think it's worth shelling out money to get the hydraulic control unit replaced. I did a lot more Googling and the Milans/Fusions really seem to have a lot of problems with this... I just wish Ford would own up to the problem.
