The radio and the CD player works but it won't switch over to aux or Bluetooth

Hello, First - is this a Ford factory audio unit? I'm a little surprised that it even has the capability of playing Bluetooth audio in a 2010 model. But honesty, I can't remember back far enough to know which vehicles had it and which did not. I had a 2012 that did indeed have it, so perahps 2010 was also equipped. If it's a factory unit: Your concern sounds like the audio unit is not recognizing anything in the Aux (1/8" input) port, or any device as one compatible with Bluetooth audio. First check to ensure the Bluetooth phone is properly paired to operate with both phone hands free operation and also Bluetooth audio. I have seen cases where new devices with recent operating system updates do not play nice with older Bluetooth compatible audio units. It is possible this could improve upon your next operating system update on your device. Typically the car audio unit is static and does not update. For the aux input, again, ensure your cable is good and it is plugged in appropriately to your device. Check your device aux output on another receiving item like computer speakers to ensure it is working that way. Check for any blown fuses in the vehicle also.
