What is your question?
When I go to my local Auto Zone, they put the hand held diagnostic device on the car and it says, "check emissions, fuel system. I have that "no gas cap" fuel filler pipe. Is there a fix for this problem? Having the check engine light go on and off is really a pain in the ass. The car has over 85,000 miles on it and it runs great!! It seems to be temperature related. Now that the warmer weather is here, the check engine light has come back on. They reset it at Auto Zone, but it comes back on a few days later. Is this a common problem with Mariners? Thanks for your help!!

it could be that your gas cap could be leaking. I would replace it because their cheap and see if it solves the problem.
My wife's 2010 Mariner has the same issue. the dealership performed a $90 check and said it was the purge valve assembly or purge valve canister. This is also fuel system related. Have not yet repaired this so i can't verify for sure but another avenue to pursue. There are some youtube videos that explain this as well. Good Luck.
Thank you for your response, but there is no gas cap. This is that "capless" filler pipe that was on the 2010 models. When you remove the gas pump nozzle, the opening snaps shut. The car comes with a "special" funnel, in case you need to use a gas can to put gas in the car if you run out. Thank you for responding.
I would say that maybe the gas port that snaps shut may not be air tight
