Why does my car alarm go off randomly?

The first question I have is – does this vehicle have an added on alarm with a siren or are you saying the horn is going off randomly? If it's a siren from an add on device, then it requires hands on inspection and even removal of the alarm in many cases, as it's likely an unresolvable concern. If it's a horn sounding, it could be that the vehicle is randomly seeing a door open due to a faulty sensor - when all the doors are closed. A door opening ajar could be faulty. Testing would be required to figure out which door is being seen as "open" when they are all closed.
