changed fuel pump filter, egr. tps, idle air control, and ignition module

Might as well throw a distributor pick up coil and an ignition coil on it since you've tried all those other parts! .... I guess you could check to see if the engine is loosing ignition spark or fuel pressure when it stalls.
Sometimes I wish I ran a parts store so I could make so much money off of clients that "guess" as a method of diagnosis. Honest to goodness, this isn't 1975 anymore. Cars are not easy to diagnose and repair. Even a 1990 Grand Marquis, with a 5.0L V8 engine is not easy. My goodness, that is indeed a great eal of parts indeed. To append what pushrod said, also check for proper air getting into the engine, any gross vacuum leaks, and even as crazy as a plugged exhaust system.
