What is your question?
I had to have the radiator replaced a few months ago and now it’s not really leaking, but it’s losing water. I have to put water in it every time I use it now. I noticed the a/c has also stopped working well and the cap that goes on the a/c hose is missing. I can’t find a leak from the reserve so I’m not sure where it’s going.
How long has your 2002 Mercury Cougar had this problem?
A week or two

A pressure test of the cooling system should be performed to find out where the coolant is going. It's unlikely to be an "internal engine coolant leak" due to the engine being all aluminum, and unlikely to "warp" causing a cylinder head leak. You will find a coolant leak once pressure is put to the system. Also, if there is no leak, there could be an air pocket in the cooling system that has been there following radiator replacement -- purge all air out of the system professionally before moving forward.
