Hello, if I'm being bluntly honest -- having been at a Mercury dealership when this car first started hitting showrooms in 1999 - I'd tell you that this car was never ever meant to last 20 years. So - initially - congratulations for that! This 2.5L V6 is not known for internal engine coolant leaks, so although there is no guarantee, it's probably good news. What are you seeing that suggests your vehicle is running hot?
