transmission pump cover

What is your question?

can i remove the cover on the side of my transmission behind the drivers side front wheel? its leaking bad, is this a common problem?

This is not terribly common, but it does happen. Yes, the cover can be removed and there is a gasket available for it

anything special i need to do to get it off? i'm having a hard time getting it off

Remove the battery tray, move the AC accumulator out of the way, disconnect the wiring harness and shift cable, disconnect the cooler inlet line. Then, there is a specific sequence of bolt removal that must occur. Reinstallation also occurs in reverse of removal.
