Before changing the starter is the battery in good condition? I would also check the battery connections and cables on the battery and also on the starter side. When changing the starter disconnect the battery. jack up the car and use jack stands to be safe. Once under the car you will need to disconnect the wires from the starter selenoid. The starter will be attached by 2 or 3 bolts. When removing the bolts note their length and location as sometimes the bolts can vary in length. Also note if there is a shim between the starter and the engine. If there is a shim it will have to be installed with the new starter. Once the starter is installed attatch the wires being careful not to over tighten them.
