did you check the fuses?? i would start there. yes, it could be wiring but without seeing it, we cannot give you an estimate. take it to a shop for a bid and then shop around. Roy

Everything Roy said. An added thought....wiring connector is probably damaged from overheating at the switch. Figure less than $100 to replace the pigtail harness.
