Will not crank. New battery everything works but will not crank

2002 slk320. Car set for about 6 -7 months because it needed a new switch for driver seat. I went to crank it last week, nothing. I charged the battery, cranked the car but it shut off after 30 seconds, noticed low fuel added 5 gallons fresh fuel cranked the car drove about 20 miles and parked. Yesterday I went to the car, turned the switch and nothing. Turned it again car cranked run 20-30 seconds and shut off. Cranked it again run 25-30 seconds shut off again. Fuel is good and New Battery today and NOTHING. What is causing it not to crank? Never had the 1st problem with car Nothing until now. I would like to drive it a little more before I BURN it. HELP PLEASE
