Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Alright, sounds like your SLK320 has been playing a serious game of "Won't Start, Can't Lose." You've got fuel in the tank and a new pump, filter, and cap, so let's talk about a few likely suspects that could still be giving you trouble. Since your low fuel light is on, it might be an issue with the fuel level sending unit or sensor wiring that's confusing the system into thinking it's still running on fumes. Or, it could be a fuel pressure regulator or a crankshaft position sensor gone rogue—both of these would prevent proper ignition even if fuel is getting where it needs to go. If this Mercedes is still throwing a tantrum, it’s probably time to check the computer for any trouble codes that might help pinpoint the cause.
