Is this a 'drive by wire' vehicle

It does have drive by wire throttle. Don't jump to conclusions it is faulty without properly testing it. The unit from Mercedes is $1000.I am sure it is available aftermarket but get a good independent Mercedes repair shop to check it out and test it first.
