Yes, there are two cylinders in that area, very common issue specially in the Florida heat. Luckily there are rebuild cylinders available. Once they start leaking it is recommended to replace all 9 or 11 of them depending on the application. We are in downtown Boca Raton area and would be happy to assist. The SL600 is notorious for leaks from the convertible top "hold down" jacks that are located behind the sun visors on both sides. Take the jack out and replace the O-rings and it should solve the problem. My wife had the jacks start leaking while driving with the top down, made quite a mess. Would be a good idea to replace the O-rings on both sides while your doing the job.
