the reservoir leaks as fluid is added. out of bottom. only front of car is low. all hydraulic functions are down. roll bar does not go up. power top does not work, nor does lockdown latches for top or release of top thru red top button to raise or lower top. all functions were working prior to leak. leak is in front of passenger wheel well right below reservoir. some idea of cost would be helpful. don't want to tow for estimate and cant afford to fix. then pay for tow back home. need some idea of cost before proceeding. got kid in college so funds are tight. car has been sitting but I keep it running till I ride again.
sorry, I thought you were. this is an ongoing problem since 1994 with the data over the years proving the problem. if it happens to just about every 600 ever built, then someone should know approx.,how much to fix it.this problem should have been taken care of in the first 5 years of production. its a big problem, that they should recall and fix as the manufacturer.someone had to have repairs done.some idea of how much it cost at any labor rate.know anyone who had it fixed?
Doesn't matter , nothing beats seeing it 'first-hand' as I already said. No matter how common a problem is , the car is 10+ years old and bound to have other variables mixed in with what may well be an easy fix. Have you tried calling a local MB shop? .......THAT may be your most accurate answer , and if ......well see if they will give you a written price guarantee , without seeing the car.............good luck. Work hard in college......

Best to be inspected by someone , with experience on those systems , first hand.
