What is your question?
When applying my breaks on 2009 SL550 the breaking system failed as the break pedal went to the floorboard without slowing the car down causing me to slam into the back end of a pickup truck. I was going slow and there was not a weather factor. This caused massive damage to my vehicle and could have caused loss of life. The braking system on my 2009 SL550 failed to slow the car down as i was approaching a stopped pickup in my lane ahead. I applied brakes to slow down but the brake pedal went straight to the floorboard and my car hit the rear end of the pickup causing massive damage to the car. Loss of life could have resulted. Neither speed or weather were a factor. No oil leak or brake pads were a factor. What caused this braking failure and what has been done to insure this will not happen again..
