What is your question?
ABC red light is on all the time and I can't select any other function on the steering wheel thumb switch. Car is level with no other apparent suspension issues. I see no leaks and the hydraulic reservoir is full. Can I still drive the car until the problem is fixed?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Nothing. No other signs of a problem.
How long has your 2005 Mercedes-Benz SL500 had this problem?
Appeared a month ago, but haven't driven it much.

I've working on many of these ABC systems on the Mercedes. You need to have the car towed. You can do damage to a very expensive pump if you drive with no fluid which could be the issue. Also, you can damage the body of the vehicle if it's sitting too low. Alex
A red warning light indicates "danger"; a yellow one is more cautionary -- as a rule of thumb. I would recommend for your safety and the safety of others around you that you have the vehicle evaluated before driving it.
Thanks for your input.
