Troubleshoot inoperative trunk tail light bar

I know this question is old but the issue is the wire by the hinge passenger side. After many years of bending it, it will break. You dont have to remover liner just cut into ruber housing and splice the wire back together with wire tie and you should be set then. Hope this helps.
