How can I correct the passenger window so it will compress the weather strip

I would try re-synching your windows. With both windows either up or down, engine on, press and hold both window switches in place for a 5-count after they stop moving. Repeat the steps in the other direction. I think this procedure is in your owners manual. If this doesn't fix it, problem may be a micro switch/proximity sensor that triggers the window to move 1/2" up/down.

Put the key in position 2 while holding down both window button in the up position for 8 seconds. When the car is jumped off or battery goes dead you have to reset the windows. It usually takes me 2-3 times to get it perfect. Let me know if this doesnt work I have another way of doing it also.
