Voltage regulator sits on top of the engine center. IF that goes out, you will have misfires on both sides of the engine. Your problem is most likely the ignition coil pack assy also called a cassette that needs to be replaced. Approx 1400 plus labor. IS your engine tuned for performance?

No its stock. Benz just told me $1200 for coil pack i see standard ignition on rockauto for $800. So from the codes do i need left or right side coil pack
