I would typically agree with the simple answer , but the car did not stall or die, just the power stealing stopped .It's a Mercedes with an electrical moment and simple is usually not the obvious. Thanks though.......
i understand it is a mercedes,but does not matter if vw or mercedes.that light don't come on for the heck of it. good luck with it.may want to check and see if the belt is still on the engine.
