What is your question?
I recently(saturday 3-27-2021) purchased an older Mercedes benz for my son, and the panel is not illuminating to see anything. the rear doesn't seem to raise up. seller said that it would raise after instrument panel was replace or fixed . my hope is that this recall showing that was alerted would still be warranted of fixed by your company. here is the info 2002 mercedes benz S430 , license plate BMP5767 TEXAS, VIN# WDBNG70J42A240344, ODOMETER READING 206879. the car will be in my sons name monday 3-29-2021 due to dmv closed on weekend. if the recall you have out on the instrument panel can still be honored by your dealer near me (arlington, Texas 76014)it would tremendously help me by easing my worries of son using vehicle daily for work. Thank you for your time and we will await for your reply by email to jc7cole@gmail.com.

Hi, according to the Mercedes-Benz web site recall form, there are no open recalls on your vehicle, for the VIN you provided. RepairPal - and this forum - is not affiliated with Mercedes - Benz -- so none of us in this forum can help as far as coverage. I can tell you that a nearly 20 year old vehicle that has no open safety recalls is not likely to have coverage for your concerns, I'm sorry. Also, this is not a forum where you can receive an email response. Good luck!
