what causes the car not to start?

What is your question?

The battery is charged and the only thing that comes on is the radio. when i insert the key no sound comes through the dash and the car wont start and the steering wheel isnt locked. do i have to check the fuses or do i have to get a new ingnation mod for the car?

What makes this problem better or worse?

its not doing anything

Hello, I'd question the battery condition. Is it fully charged and able to handle a load? That's really the first and main thing to check out. If it is, you shouldn't have what is happening occur, even if other electrical problems exist.
