'95 S420 replaced ICM still won't run, will start run till warm, then start miss

Technician is sure that its the throttle body that's causing my problem, this was "rebuilt" by a reliable shop sometime back, of coarse its past the warranty period, would you recommend this? I mentioned the lack of power and hes of the opinion that a "bad" throttle body will cause a lack of power is the communication line, I anxiously await your answer. Regards, Russell

It's a tough place you're in; i'm sorry you're experiencing this frustration. I'm sorry that I can't speak to the specifics of your problem, but in general, a lack of communication indicates there is a fuse blown to the data link connector, or something in the processor itself that is non-responsive. I don't know enough about this throttle body concern, thus me recommending the second opinion as I stated. I'm sorry I can't help more from here!

Car performing as it's designed too! Think my problems are resolved!!! Never thought a defective Throttle body would stop communciation between the automobile and all scanning tools
