2010 Mercedes-Benz R350 At what mileage should I expect my brakes to be replaced
At what mileage should I expect my brakes to be replaced
What is your question?
A dealership just told me I needed a full break job, drums and alll...I am a bit suspicious this is not true, we never have heard any notice indicating this.
RepairPal Certified shops can diagnose and repair your 2010 Mercedes-Benz R350. They provide transparent pricing with a minimum 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty on repairs and services.
How many miles are on the brake pads, shoes and everything else right now? City driving compared to highway and overall mileage is a factor. This is definetly early for brake shoes and drums going by the year of the vehicle.
It is a big car and heavier than most but........anything more than front pads and rotors would be a complete shock. Rear drums and shoes will last 2 to 3 times as long as the front brakes. I wouldn't pay from more than front pads and rotors if I was in your shoes. Forget the dealership. Take to a local shop and have a free inspection done and get their opinion. Probably, just front pads need replaced. Get the lifetime warranty front pads and all brake pads will be free as long as you own this car.
