Dealer is saying I need a new Trans. They want 5800 to fix. Can I get a used Trans?

Ok Thanks for all your help. Income tax is comming up right. lol I probably been better off buying brand new. I think that will be my next move. My whole thing is that I don't think the trans should be going like that in that high in car.
