What is your question?

I've replaced front brake pads on other makes of cars. Is it the same for Mercedes, or are there sensors that have to be reset? (MB dealership told me there were)

No resetting necessary. Use caution when removing sensor (pin) from used pad, "before" removing pad from caliper... you will also need a 1/16 inch diameter punch pin to push out the pins holding the retaining mechanism
