The rear passenger seat is locked in the down position and I cant get the seating part to unlock, the back rest will lift up and lay flat, but the whole seat wont reposition. Is there a trick to removing the whole seat, since I'm pretty sure the release cable must be broken? Thanks

I had a problem with my third row. It was a bar going accross the lower back side of the seat that hooks to the lever to stand the seat up. if you had something between the rear hatch and the seat that didnt fit well and slammed the door it bends the bar inside the seat and quits. try lifting the velcro and moving the bar yourself while pulling the lever, or pushing the lever.
