What is your question?
ABS comes on while driving, when I pull over, slow down, something like the brake grabs, jerks, snaps, sounds like metal pulling or coming apart. It feels like its in a front wheel. ??

Hello, It sounds like you have a worn out wheel bearing in the front. The ABS light would come on because the wheel speed sensor would no longer be able to read the speed of that wheel, and the ABS module relies on that information. Avoid driving the vehicle, especially on the highway, until you can get it into a shop. A final set of questions: Do you feel like the steering wheel position is different or inconsistent? Do you hear more noise when slowing the vehicle to a stop, and less when cruising at normal speeds? Does the sound get louder or go away when turning one direction?
Tks for your reply. I have not noticed a difference in the steering wheel position. The noise seems to start when I slow down to pull over, and the noise, jerking, and popping are more when turning wheel. I have taken the car into a shop who I have used for 30 years on tires, and auto repair. They are not known for foreign cars, but I trust them to tell me the truth. Thanks for your help. John
